# The prospect has a problem, but no clear priority All stories are fictional. They do not describe specific people, companies or projects. Any resemblance is coincidental. A prospective customer describes a slow internal process. They agree it would be useful to improve, but every follow-up ends with 'we'll come back to this later'. ## Where we could start I would start by reviewing what is currently known, what the customer has actually said, and what remains an assumption. We could then select one useful qualification or discovery question before proposing more work. ## What you would have A concise situation brief with facts, assumptions, questions and a possible next step. ## Participants The person facing the problem, a relevant business owner and whoever decides which initiatives receive attention. ## Roles and decisions The customer defines the priority. I help review the evidence and prepare the next questions. ## Factual experience, separate from the fictional story [The cost of waiting is understood](https://apiperson.com/sales/sales-qualify-priority/consequence/) [The problem is recognised, but its priority is unclear](https://apiperson.com/sales/sales-qualify-priority/unclear/) [Book a 30-minute call](https://calendar.app.google/4FrxQkHkAZ32PkzA9) mailto:pavel@apiperson.com
