# The prospect has a problem, but no clear priority ยท The cost of waiting is understood All stories are fictional. They do not describe specific people, companies or projects. Any resemblance is coincidental. A prospective customer describes a slow internal process. They agree it would be useful to improve, but every follow-up ends with 'we'll come back to this later'. ## Where we could start I would examine the consequence, identify who is affected and check whether the issue ranks above competing priorities. Then we could define the next qualification question. ## What you would have A short priority assessment: consequence, owner, urgency, remaining assumptions and next action. ## Participants The person facing the problem, a relevant business owner and whoever decides which initiatives receive attention. ## Roles and decisions The customer defines the priority. I help review the evidence and prepare the next questions. ## Factual experience, separate from the fictional story [The cost of waiting is understood](https://apiperson.com/sales/sales-qualify-priority/consequence/) [The problem is recognised, but its priority is unclear](https://apiperson.com/sales/sales-qualify-priority/unclear/) [Book a 30-minute call](https://calendar.app.google/4FrxQkHkAZ32PkzA9) mailto:pavel@apiperson.com
