# The first meaningful customer meeting is coming up All stories are fictional. They do not describe specific people, companies or projects. Any resemblance is coincidental. Tomorrow's meeting is scheduled. Your team has prepared slides, yet nobody has agreed what it needs to learn before proposing a solution. ## Where we could start I would start by reviewing what is currently known, what the customer has actually said, and what remains an assumption. We could then select one useful qualification or discovery question before proposing more work. ## What you would have A concise situation brief with facts, assumptions, questions and a possible next step. ## Participants The customer-facing lead and, where relevant, the person who understands delivery or product constraints. ## Roles and decisions The customer owns their business problem. I help the team prepare to listen and ask useful questions. ## Factual experience, separate from the fictional story [We know the key uncertainty](https://apiperson.com/sales/sales-discovery-upcoming/objective/) [We only have a general pitch planned](https://apiperson.com/sales/sales-discovery-upcoming/no-objective/) [Book a 30-minute call](https://calendar.app.google/4FrxQkHkAZ32PkzA9) mailto:pavel@apiperson.com
